Larry and List;

Yep CARC is pretty nasty stuff in itself.  Read = Cancer!  I can attest to its nastyness on a personal basis.  And even with my Job being Hazardous Materials instructor!  I too was stupid for a few days as I sanded a M151A2 of CARC.  I coughed for months.  NO LIE, for months.  Couldnt even get out a sentance with out coughing my lung up.  After I stopped coughing (the 3 days I grinded it all off) I use a respirator religiously.  I am now one of those walking stories.  And I knew it, doing it!!  Stupid me.

CARC was replaced with a LESS hazardous material called WBCC, water bourne camoflague coating, But dont be fearless of this stuff either, STILL NASTY just not AS bad.  If you can use it to repel Biological and Chemical attacks, guess what, its harsher than they are!!  Go figure.

Its great paint, just use your head when painting and removing said chemicals, and do it the right way.  A dust mask will NOT DO.  You need a special mask and filter.  I use full face stuff now cause I like my eyesight also.  If you need more info you can get with me.  Just my .02.
