Sure, 'carriers', but I was speaking of fixed
wing fleet carriers that can project power ashore
and act as sea control/ASW ships. It's like the
difference between an M1 Abrams and a M24 Chaffe.

deployed once or twice for trials, but is far
from operational and Russia has no facilities to
service her since she was built by Ukraine).
The French have x1 40 aircraft vessel at 41,000
tons displacement. It's operational, but hasn't
seen much use and is missing most of it's air
wing.
The Brits have x3 20+ aircraft at ~20,000 tons
Invincible class (arguably as used as the US
vessels with just as capable crews, doctrine and
training levels, just not in the same class).
India has the x1 21+ aircraft vessel at ~29,000 tons.
Brazil has the x1 35 + aircraft vessel at ~20,000 tons
Spain has the x1 21+ aircraft vessel at ~17,000 tons.
Italy has the x1 16+ aircraft vessel at ~14,000 tons.
Thailand has the x1 10+ aircraft vessel at ~12,000 tons.
Then the US has another 12 carriers in the 40,000
tons displacement range that are considered
"Amphibious Warfare Ships) with 35-40 aircraft in
their groups as well.
Personally, what I miss are the carriers that used to sail under the
Royal Ensign. Canada, the UK and Australia used
to operate comparatively large carriers that were
similar to the US's large carriers of the time.
It does however look like the UK is returning to
the fold of more standard fixed wing carrier
(60,000 tons est) sometime in the next 10 years.
