I don't think its a timing problem, as the vehicle has only done 15,000 Km
from new, and the chain seems fine.
I am pretty sure its a breather problem. Havn'y checked the Distributor, and
will look at that tomorrow.
Any other suggestions ?
Adrian
you have a timing problem. unfortunately it sounds like a worn
timing chain. best way to determine if it is a mechanical problem
rather than an ignition problem is to replace your current ignition
with an HEI, something along the lines of a Mallory you can find at
PAW. If you still have the problem it is probably your timing chain.
also check the play in your distributor, you should have none.
good luck
James

am at a loss as to where any blockage can be.
