I had a 1009 that had to go manual, and my 1008 now is stock and working so
far. Fire dept only put 3000 miles on the 1008 in 7 years.

And just how have you determined that 'most of us have converted
already' ?

I would venture you might find the opposite to be true! I'll start that
survey by saying that my 5 are just the way GM produced them - and start
fine. How about the rest of you CUCV guys? (WOW and this could
start/continue a thread that is HMV related, whotta ya think of that?!?!
