Mike,
Pinholes are usually in an area that hasn't rusted through, YET, and the metal
is thin. I would not apply heat by using brazing or mig. The metal will buckle
or disapear.
You didn't say where the pinholes are located.
If they are in a unnoticeable area I'd recommend fiberglass cloth and epoxy
resin after neutralizing the rust.
Or, metal filled bondo, again after naturalizing the rust.
Bondo, (fiberglass body filler) is porous and unless it's TOTALLY sealed will
rust underneath then fall off. A friend of mine spent several days filling and
shaping his truck. I told him that he'd better get some paint on the filler,
but said that it would be OK. The next summer I went to his place and he was
scraping off the bondo and cussing the cheap bondo that didn't stick. Where the
bondo fell off you could clearly see rusty metal. I reminded him that I thought
that he should have put some paint over it
The bondo with aluminum filler is not porous so you don't have to worry about
sealing the under side.

Buzz
