Everette,
In Nam, my uncle was in the seabee's as a mechanic. For the shop, they
used a deuce multi-fuel engine running a gen-set on straight used engine oil
for more than a year, and she was running fine when he shipped out.
I use 20% soy diesel, and it was suggested by a head mechanic at a
nearby Highway dept garage to change fuel filters after 1-2 tanks of fuel,
then at 3 months as the soy tends to "CLEAN" the tank of sludge . They have
used 20% blend for 2 years now.
